We’re going to California!
Dear Parents and Legal Guardians of Argyle Musicians,
It is with great excitement that we announce this year’s senior trip to California for our music students. This trip promises to be an unforgettable experience filled with music, bonding, and fun, and I wanted to provide you with some necessary information to ensure your child can participate in this exciting adventure.
Trip Details:
Destination: California, USA (with highlights in Los Angeles, Anaheim, Disneyland and Redlands).
Dates: May 18th, 2024 – May 22nd, 2024
Estimated Cost: $3250.00
This can either be paid in installments MONTHLY ($541.67 per month) or all at once. The first payment will appear in school cash online on October 1, 2023, and must be paid before November the 1st. We do have bursaries available upon request.
Ensembles participating: Senior Jazz Band, Senior Concert Band, Chamber Choir, & Senior Strings Students who are in grade 11/12.
Your child will be receiving a package within the next week that includes the following documents:
- Traveler Checklist and deadlines
- Trip Overview
- Budget Breakdown: This document provides a detailed breakdown of the trip costs, outlines payment options and due dates.
- Trip Itinerary: The itinerary outlines our daily activities, including visits to renowned music venues, cultural attractions, and sightseeing excursions.
- Required Forms: Including consent forms, medical information forms, and emergency contact details. These forms must be completed and returned by October 30th, 2023. Please review these documents carefully and ensure they are submitted on time.
- A guide on how to save up for your trip (on behalf of the AMA)
We understand that participating in a trip like this is a significant commitment. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact us. We want ALL senior students who wish to have the opportunity to go to be included on this trip. Please notify your instructor if you cannot attend the trip.
