FINAL Concert for Semester 1 – Choirs and Strings

Greetings Parents/ Guardians/ Student

FRI Jan 27 – Highlands United Church – 3255 Edgemont Boulevard

CALL : 5:45pm – ON STAGE 6pm for DRESS RUN THROUGH

Formal Concert Attire – Black dress shoes, Black dress pants, Long sleeve button up black shirt with burgundy tie or blouse  or HENKAA burgundy dress

ADMISSION by DONATION – Doors will open shortly after 7pm CONCERT from 7:30 – 8:30pm

This is Mrs Roberts last concert with Argyle and there will be a reception following in the Welcome Space

Itinerary for FRI Jan 27 – Semester End Concert – Argyle Choirs & Strings

5:15pm – Mrs. Roberts & Mr. Clements needs a crew of SIX to assist in stage set up
5:45pm – Students start arriving – go to LOWER HALL – store coats, instrument cases, tune
strings – get into concert attire ( leave cel phones here – not in concert hall )
5:55pm – MOVE Into place in sanctuary upstairs – SOUND CHECKS
6:00pm – CONCERT & CHAMBER CHOIR – opening drumming song
6:05pm – CONCERT CHOIR on stage – sound check
6:20pm – STRINGS on stage – run some repertoire
6:35pm – CHAMBER CHOIR on stage – sound check ( 4 mics )
6:50pm – CONCERT WALK THROUGH – in order
7:00pm – clear sanctuary to open doors
ADMISSION by DONATION
7:30 – 8:30pm CONCERT
After Concert – STRINGS & small crew move chairs & stands off stage – instruments to cases
8:30 pm Reception in Welcoming space

PARKING at HIGHLANDS UNITED CHURCH 3255 Edgemont Blvd.
Three parking lots surround the church and a PUBLIC underground parking lot is beneath the
THRIFTY’s and SHOPPERS DRUG MART. ( approach from Woodbine Dr )
Lot #1 SOUTH of church entrance
Lot #2 NORTH of the church – HANDICAP spots – close to Handicap entrance
Lot #3 BACK of the church ( cul de sac) from Edgemont Blvd – Driving NORTH through Edgemont Village on Edgemont Blvd. TURN LEFT at the lights onto Ridgewood Ave then the next LEFT onto Brookridge ( cul de sac) half way down the street LEFT around the meridian into back lot.
