Year-end events at Argyle Music

Dear Argyle Music Families,

 

As we approach the end of the school year, we are thrilled to share the details of our final performances! These concerts are the culmination of months of hard work, growth, and collaboration—and we can’t wait for you to hear what our ensembles have prepared.

 

That said, we know this time of year can feel especially busy and even stressful for many students. We kindly urge families to help prioritize attendance and punctuality during these final weeks, particularly for rehearsals and performances. Every voice and instrument plays a vital role in the success of our ensembles.

 

Here’s what’s coming up:

 

Band Zone Concert – Wednesday, May 21 at 7:20pm

Featuring Argyle’s bands and feeder elementary school bands in a celebration of our music community.

Held at Argyle Secondary.

Admission by donation.

 

Cabaret – Friday, May 30 at 7:00pm

A 19+ evening of jazz, refreshments, and community in support of our graduating students’ scholarship fund.

Featuring performances by Argyle’s Jazz Bands and Vocal Jazz Ensembles.

Year-End Choral & Strings Concert – Tuesday, June 3 at 7:00pm

Highlands United Church – 3255 Edgemont Blvd.

Featuring all Choral and String ensembles.

Suggested donation: $15 at the door

Students should keep the entire afternoon and evening available for soundcheck and setup.

 

Year-End Band Concert – Tuesday, June 10 at 7:00pm

Argyle Secondary School Gymnasium

Featuring all Concert Bands and Jazz Bands.

Suggested donation: $15 at the door
