Concert Reminder: May 21st, 2025

Hello students and Families,

 

We are all looking forward to hosting a ZONE concert on the evening of May 21st, the doors will open at 6:45, and performance begins at 7:20. This concert will feature performances by elementary students from Ross Road, Upper Lynn, and Lynn Valley under the direction of Mr. Madill, as well as the Argyle Senior Concert and Argyle Senior Jazz bands.

 

The Senior ensembles have been working very hard on some excellent selections that will be very entertaining and impactful. I sincerely hope that Argyle families will attend this performance as well to hear the wonderful music. Some parent volunteers to assist with this event would be greatly appreciated – running the door, helping with take-down at the end of the show. Please let me know if you can lend an extra hand – there will be a lot of performers!

 

Wardrobe for performers – concert blacks – no logos.

 

Attendance will be recorded after the clean-up and students are expected to stay until the clean-up is done and the rooms are re-set which could take up to 45 minutes.

 

Students – this performance does count as part of your mark for the class – one of the core competencies of the Band class is communicating. This concert is an opportunity for you to demonstrate that you understand that communication can influence, entertain, teach, inspire, and help us make sense of the world and our experiences.
