Important Message for Argyle Families

Dear Parents, Guardians & Families of Argyle Music,

Before we head into Spring Break-Please make note of the following important bulletins…

• PRE TRIP MEETING: April 4th is the Whistler Pre-Trip mandatory meeting. Each student must bring a guardian or parent to attend the meeting. The meeting will occur at 7:00pm (aprox 60 mins) in the Argyle Library.

• NEXT CABARET MEETING: Immediately following the meeting on April 4th, the Cabaret Committee will be hosting a meeting discussing the upcoming Cabaret Fundraiser on 
  May 3rd, 2024. We are STILL seeking volunteers to be a part of this annual event. Please attend.

• CABARET 2024: For families who are new to the Argyle Music Program, Cabaret is an annual fundraising event for the Argyle Music Program, and funds raised go towards scholarships for graduating music students (when they plan to continue pursuing music or not – as long as students are a Gr 12 student in the Argyle music program, they are eligible to apply). The event consists of some light appies, drinks, music & dancing, as well as a wonderful Silent Auction to help raise funds for this meaningful cause. More information regarding the Cabaret event will be coming soon, but in the meantime, if you have unwanted Christmas gifts, gift cards, wine and other alcohols, or if you have other items you would like to donate for the Cabaret Silent Auction / mystery prizes, please contact us to schedule a pick up or drop off. 

• AMA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS : Argyle Music is proud to offer scholarships to Argyle music students who are planning on attending post-secondary institutions (within and beyond the performing arts). Scholarship application information will be sent out via ms teams to students and on our website https://www.argylemusic.ca/scholarship/

The deadline this year is May 5th.
