Choirs will be performing\, having a workshop with a clinician and recording a group song together with one other choir. \nWe are very pleased to be participating on Wednesday March 2nd in the afternoon along with a choir from Langley BC – Mountain Secondary. Scott Leithead from Edmonton AB is our brilliant clinician\, for the very first\, “ Beyond the Horizon Choral Festival”. DESCRIPTION:The Vancouver Chamber Choir will be joined on stage at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts by the Argyle Secondary Chamber Choir.\n\n\n\nJUST SOCIETY is a program that celebrates the young singers of Vancouver. The Argyle Secondary Chamber Choir is led by teacher and Vancouver Chamber Choir Board member\, Frances Roberts. Frances Roberts is in her 29th year of teaching at Argyle Secondary\, North Vancouver\, where she currently directs 3 concert choirs\, 1 chamber choir and 2 vocal jazz/chamber ensembles. Argyle’s Music department gives its choral students exposure to a diverse range of musical styles\, eras of music\, and basic music theory. Argyle students often have the opportunity to work with Canadian and international music industry professionals.\n\n\n\nJUST SOCIETY is an opportunity for these high-school students to showcase their talents to a live audience at a Vancouver Chamber Choir concert. SUMMARY:Senior Music Christmas Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Senior Music Christmas Concert on Tuesday\, Dec 14; 7:30pm at St. Andrews Wesley United Church (1022 Nelson St\, Vancouver\, BC V6E 4S7). This event will feature Senior Concert Choir\, Chamber Choir\, Senior Concert Band\, and Senior Strings. Please join us for a musical celebration with live music featuring our own music students and be prepared to join us for a couple of audience singalongs! \nTickets are $10 and must be pre-purchased before the event. Please bring cash and purchase a ticket from Ms Chan or Mrs Roberts (Tickets will be available starting next week\, Mon Dec 6). Livestreaming option is also available\, and the link for purchase will be provided closer to date. \nProof of vaccination and valid ID will be required for the event. Guests are also asked to keep their masks on for the duration of the concert. \nWe look forward to having you joining at this wonderful celebration!
