Edmonton: Here we come!
Hello families and folks of Argyle musicians.
Please note the following announcements are for those attending the Edmonton Trip from April 16th – 19th and require important action items that require a timely response. Please read this email ENTIRELY.
As we approach the exciting departure date for this trip, we’d like to share with you the latest trip handbook draft (linked here) so you can note the drop off and pick up times on the first and last day, and packing lists. Please take some time to go over the following aspects of this booklet with your child this week. As mentioned before, we are asking students to plan on bringing their passport which is the best option for ease of travelling. Please note that drop off is at THE AIRPORT, whereas pickup is at ARGYLE SECONDARY.
Students will be asked to attend a lunch meeting on April 14th to go through any updates before we depart on the 16th, wherein we will also distribute the finalized handbooks.
Hotel rooming assignments have been posted in both music rooms. Students are being asked to NOT take pictures of these rooms. Consent forms for this trip confirming if the student is comfortable with an all-male, all-female, or all gendered room (also known as co-ed), have been sent home and should be returned as soon as possible.
We are also asking families to fill out this FORM to share their health card number in the unlikely event we need it while on our trip.
